Post Art Library is a privately endowed not-for-profit special library + art gallery that’s located inside the Joplin Public Library. Winfred and Elizabeth Post were generous philanthropists who actively supported the arts in Joplin. The Posts had planned to leave their house, furniture, and art collections as a museum for the community of Joplin. In 1981, Post Art Library opened to the public.
The board members felt like Post Art Library was stuck in an old-time design. We provided them with a completely new logo, bright color palette, website and collateral, allowing this historical organization to become timeless. The website features an interactive timeline (notably used by Time Magazine) showing the history of Post Art Library.
